Air Max Day 2023

Given the recent spiraling of ‘sneakerhead’ culture over the past maybe decade; as much as I may fight with myself on the topic, the reality of it is even through the bots, missing out on raffle selections, app frustrations, shoe plugs that are no longer reliable and everything in between; my affinity for sneakers has not dwindled whatsoever. NIKE has always been my unquestioned leader in producing the best footwear in style, leisure, quality, comfort and collaborations but the thing that separates them from competitors is their branding and storytelling.

In 2014, Nike celebrated MARCH 26th as the first official NIKE AIR MAX Day to celebrate the 27th anniversary of the first Air Max model being released. Each year since; Nike and Air Max die hards utilize the day to show off arguably the greatest silhouette ever created.
